Remember I Heart You
(SOS June Sketch DT Reveal)

What a bittersweet post I'm sharing with you today
as it is my last DT reveal for Scrap Our Stash challenge blog!

My SOS experience has come full circle and after a whole year of
being on this fabulous DT, it is now time for me to step back and
let someone else have the incredible opportunity
of being on such a great team!

I'm leaving with a bang though as I think that this is my favorite SOS creation so far.

First, let's take a look at the June Sketch challenge #27:

Along with using this fabulous sketch, designed by Ashley Horton, as inspiration, the challenge also asks to create a card with the leftover stash used to create the layout.

Click HERE to find out all the details!

I used the beautiful My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Record It 'Heirloom' collection to create both my layout and my card.

I love the colour combination of kraft with pink and red.

I was also able to fussy cut all those beautiful hearts from the MME patterned paper.

This picture of my nieces is so precious and was the perfect focal point of my page.

Now let's take a look at the card I created with some of the leftovers,
keeping on with the love and heart theme.

I loved this challenge and I love how my layout-card set turned out.

Now let's see what you create based on Sketch Challenge #27!

Link up HERE by June 29th for the chance to win!

A big THANK YOU to Brenda and Rochelle,
owners of the Scrap Our Stash challenge blog
for having me as one of their designers the past year.
I enjoyed every single minute of it!

Together
(2Crafty Farewell DT Reveal - part 2)

Two years have just flown by (time flies when you're having fun!),
and now this is my last share as DT member for 2Crafty Chipboard!

Starting with a beautiful Bo Bunny background patterned paper
adorned with fancy flourishes stenciled on the edges,
I was then inspired by the doily design on the paper
to then add many doily-type chipboard pieces from 2Crafty.

First of all, let's take a look at the title "Together Is My Favorite
Place To Be", which I divided into a few pieces in order to
best line in up on my page.  It was painted with white gesso,
dabbed with 2 different blue distress stains and then white washed
with pearly white paint.  I bordered the title with the
pretty "Stitched Lace Border", simply painted white because
I absolutely wanted the details of the lacy design to stand out.

You see here the most beautiful chipboard hearts ever,
called "Lace Heart Frames".  You get 2 of them in a pack.

Among my flower clusters, I added these cute tiny hearts
from the "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars" set, painted white.

Needless to say, this is my current favorite picture of me and my love.

Thank you for joining me every month for the last 2 years
while I shared with you my creations using gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard.

Happiness Is This
(2Crafty Farewell DT Reveal - part 1)

Today's and tomorrow's posts are very bittersweet for me
as they are my last DT Reveals for 2Crafty Chipboard.

After being part of this wonderful Team for 2 years, it's now time for me
to step back and give my spot to some other lucky lady who I'm sure
will have as much fun as I have, designing with some of
the best chipboard products out there!
I will be forever grateful to Vanessa, 2Crafty owner,
for this creative opportunity!

As they say, all good things must end.

This layout was inspired by the Prima June Build-A-Page Sketch challenge.
I used some vintage Prima papers as well as lots of flowers, leaves and crystals.

What I've loved most about designing for 2Crafty these past 2 years
are the large selection of beautiful chipboard titles.  For this layout, I picked
the "Happiness is this" mini title which I painted in pearly paint followed
with dabs of distressed stains and then I cut in two in order to align
the word happiness around the "6inch Clock Face Frame".

Following the circle themed sketch, I used 2 of the "6 inch Revolution
Circle Frames" as well as some of the "Circle Stack" set.
Each piece I painted with white paint, then pearly champagne-colored
acrylic paint.  I cut a "Decorative Rod Set 1" piece in two
and added a piece on either side of my layout.  They were painted
the same as the circles, but with an added faint touch of reddish pink.

Here you can see some of the many Prima blooms I added to my layout
under which I tucked a piece of "Circle Lace Panel".

You can see here some more of the "Circle Lace Panel" as well as
the word 'happy' from the "Word Circles Set 1" continuing on
with the circle design theme.

And a last close-up...

I will be back tomorrow with another very romantic and shabby chic
layout using lots of 2Crafty Chipboard!

Happiness Canvas
(Scrap Around the World Mid Month Reveal)

YAY!  It's time for the mid-month DT reveal at Scrap Around the World
and that means that I get to share with you my project based on the June mood board!

Take a look again at the elegant and fresh mood board
designed by Veera Saarivuo from Finland.

Click HERE to see the project reveal of the first part of the SATW DT
and HERE to see the mid-month reveal, including yours truly!

I obviously was inspired by the Happiness quote to create my canvas.
I went in search of my own quote and chose the one that spoke to me the most.

I was also inspired by the soft pastel color scheme of the mood board
and all the pretty resin flowers on the fancy hair clip.

The majority of the flowers I used are from Prima
and that beautiful sparkly butterfly is from Reneabouquets.

Don't you love those blooms?

Now, let me remind you of all the wonderful prize sponsors this month:
